Travel photography Sri Lanka, shot in 2012. Friendly people, great food and a fascinating culture are all ingredients for great photos! I’ve been to Colombo, Hikkaduwa, Dodanduwa, Galle and Kandy. Exploring Sri Lanka by rental car gave me the opportunity to stop anywhere along the interesting road to make a photo.
What I really like about Sri Lanka is the combination of everything. The beach is never far away. And so is great food! If you love spicy curries, fish, sunny weather, temples, palmtrees and beaches look no futher. Book a ticket and go to Sri Lanka.
Travel photos of Kandy and the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic
Don’t forget to go to Kandy! Its a 3 hours drive from the capital city and for me it was one of the highlights of my short visit to Sri Lanka. Just a stroll around the city is nice. And so is a visit to Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic. Below you’ll find some images of this temple in Kandy.
